It was great to see so much travelling support to see the First XV earn a 46 points to 10 bonus point win at Leodensian on Saturday. Thank you to everyone who travelled to Leeds, the whole squad appreciates your support.
After an attritional first 20 minutes Pocklington got into their stride, scoring seven tries through Jed Jackson (2), Flynn Sangwin, Matty Downes, Louis Sangwin, Dan Elliott and a 25 metre dash down the wing for Andy Argo-Bennett. Christian Pollock added 4 conversions and a penalty. A happy squad (pictured) celebrated afterwards in York.
The Pilgrims also notched up a big win, beating Withernsea at Percy Road by 38 - 12.
This coming Saturday is a blank week for men’s fixtures, but the Women’s side are at home to Hornsea on Sunday. Kick off time to be confirmed.
